Currently, we offer 3 packages:

  • Odoo HR Core for Vietnam Enterprises:a Vietnam HR Core solution that can help you manage your HR processes in Vietnam.

  • Vietnamese Accounting Standard Package: a Vietnamese Accounting solution that can help you comply with Vietnamese accounting regulations.

Since 2009, we are a leading Odoo integrator in Vietnam with over 200 successful projects delivered to businesses of all sizes and industries. We have projects in Retail, Education, Service trade, Manufacturing, Inventory, E-commerce, HRM, VAS, etc.

It depends on the needs of the client. But most of our projects are medium to large in size: around 500 to -1000 man days.

Of course, we are also capable of handling smaller projects. In 2020, we launched a new offer called Odoo Onboarding, designed to help businesses quickly and easily get up and running with Odoo. These smaller projects usually take 5 to 30 man days to complete.

The implementation approach that we recommend will depend on the size and complexity of the project.

  • Onboarding: This approach is for projects that have no (or very little) customization required. We will help you to set up Odoo and train your key users on how to use it. This approach is typically the most cost-effective option for small businesses.

  • Customization: This approach is for projects that have many industry-specific processes or require a lot of customization. We will work with you to customize the Odoo modules to meet your specific requirements. This approach is typically more expensive than the onboarding approach, but it can be the best option for businesses with complex needs.

  • Fixed price: This approach is for projects that have a determined scope of work. We will quote you a fixed price for the project, and we will not charge you any additional fees unless there are changes to the scope of work. This approach can be helpful for businesses that want to budget for the project in advance.

  • Dedicated resource: This approach is for projects that are very complex and have new requirements constantly. We will assign a dedicated team of experts to your project to ensure that it is completed on time and within budget.

Here are some additional factors that we will consider when choosing with you the most suitable implementation approach:

  • The size and complexity of your business

  • Your budget

  • Your planning

  • Your technical expertise

  • Your organizational maturity
    Your industry-specific requirements

Here are the steps of Trobz's implementation methodology:

  • Step 1: First call

  • Step 2: First meeting (online or offline)

  • Step 3: Pre-Analysis (online or offline)

  • Step 4: Quotation for Analysis phase (if needed)

  • Step 5: Analysis Phase

  • Step 6: Quotation for Implementation phase

  • Step 7: Sign contract and kick-off project

  • Step 8: Deliver project

  • Step 9: Post-implementation support

        1. How do I know which version of Odoo is suitable for my business?

We can help you to determine which version of Odoo is suitable for your business. We will acquire your requirements and consult to you the suitable Odoo version. Here are some factors that you need to consider when choosing the right Odoo version:

        • Your budget: The Community Edition of Odoo is free, while the Enterprise Edition requires a subscription. You need to choose the version that fits your budget.

        • Your technical expertise: The Enterprise Edition of Odoo is easier to install and configure than the Community Edition. If you have limited technical expertise, you may want to choose the Enterprise Edition.

Note: Odoo is available in 2 versions: Odoo Community (open-source) and Odoo Enterprise (licensed). >>See more<<

        2. How often do I have to upgrade the system?

If you use Odoo Enterprise and have no customization, Odoo provides support to upgrade databases to the last version available, usually a few months after it's released. Odoo releases new versions annually. The upgrade cost is included in the Odoo Enterprise license fee upgrades.

However, if you have customized the software, Odoo does not support automatic upgrades for customized versions of the software. We recommend that you should upgrade to the latest version when you are ready to make the changes to your customizations (around 4-5 years).

Note: Odoo is available in 2 versions: Odoo Community (open-source) and Odoo Enterprise (licensed). >>See more<<

Yes, you can integrate other business systems or technology solutions with Odoo. Odoo provides a number of integration options, including:

        • Web services: Odoo can be integrated with other systems using web services. This is a standard way to integrate systems and allows you to exchange data between Odoo and other systems.

        • APIs: Odoo also provides APIs that you can use to integrate with other systems. APIs are a more flexible way to integrate systems and allow you to customize the integration to meet your specific needs.

        • Connectors: Odoo also offers a number of connectors that you can use to integrate with other systems. Connectors are pre-built integrations that make it easy to connect Odoo to popular systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and Amazon Web Services.

Here are some of the benefits of integrating Odoo with other systems:

        • You can share data between systems.

        • You can automate tasks.

        • You can improve efficiency and productivity.

        • Odoo doesn't magically cover all your needs out of the box: The Odoo source code is designed to be flexible and customizable, but you may need to make changes to the code to meet your specific needs. This can be a daunting task if you are not familiar with Python programming.

        • You don't want to deal with the hassle of the installation and the maintenance of an Odoo server: The Odoo source code is a complex piece of software, and it can be difficult to install and configure it correctly. If you are not familiar with Linux or Python, you may have a hard time getting it up and running.

You should focus your time and energy on clearly defining your requirements and training your users. Don't underestimate the complexity of an ERP implementation: it is a major project that impacts your whole company and not only your IT department.

        • Everything is possible, it is just a matter of budget and priority

        • Odoo itself has a tremendous number of features available

        • If your need is not covered, it is easy to develop a module that extends Odoo

          • But sometimes the analysis phase will show that your need can be handled with an existing feature, provided that you changed your process a bit

For a successful Odoo implementation project

        • Enterprises have a clear process and working flow

        • Clearly define the project scope

        • Have thorough and detailed initial analysis phase

        • Appropriate implementation plan

        • The client side has their own experienced project manager with knowledge of Odoo

A simple Odoo implementation project (Odoo Onboarding) usually takes about 3 months and a large project takes from 1 - 3 years.

You can refer to the cost of Odoo Onboarding packages here. Regarding the large implementation projects, we will provide a quote after acquiring your requirements.

        4. The expenses of implementing an Odoo ERP project (One-time cost and recurring cost)

        One-time cost:

        • Server provisioning (if you use Odoo online, you don't need it)

        • Implementation costs including analysis, customization, integration to other systems, data migration, key user training, pilot

        Recurring cost:

        • Maintenance and Support  Service (Post - implementation service)

        • Hosting fee

        • Server support contract

        • Odoo licenses (Odoo Enterprise)

Why do you need to go through the Analysis phase?

The analysis will help us to do the implementation plan accurately which controls the project scope, limit the risk of extra costs, and errors.

        How does Trobz do it?

After the pre-analysis phase, for complex projects, we and our client will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and an Analysis contract. We will go directly to the client side to interview their key users to acquire detailed requirements based on the client's expectations. Then, we will analyze and write the Functional Specification Document (FSD) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

        6. Which projects require the Analysis phase before the Implementation phase?

The Analysis phase is the first phase of the project management lifecycle, and it is where the project team gathers information and defines the project scope. This includes understanding the business needs, identifying the stakeholders, and defining the project goals. The Analysis phase is essential for ensuring that the project is successful. Especially, projects which have many industry-specific processes.
